Mount the hydraulic Brinell hardness indenter onto the chain-type measuring bracket. During testing, use the chain to secure the measuring bracket to the surface of the test piece, and operate the loading lever to apply the test force to the test piece.
The hydraulic Brinell hardness indenter is a small hydraulic system. The hydraulic system includes a control valve used to control the test force. When the pressure reaches 3000 kgf, the control valve opens, and the pressure drops. According to the American standard ASTM E110, the pressure should be repeatedly applied 3-4 times, allowing the pressure gauge pointer to reach the 3000 kgf value 3-4 times. This is equivalent to the provisions of the Brinell hardness test method for a 3000 kgf test force, a 10 mm ball, and a pressing time of 10-15 seconds.
