    The IT8000 series is a high-power energy regenerative DC electronic load developed based on the third-generation SiC technology. It can simulate various load characteristics and feed energy back to the grid, saving users electricity and cooling costs while meeting energy-saving and environmental protection requirements. Adopting a modular high-power density design, it can provide up to 18kW of power absorption within a 3U volume. Through master-slave parallel connection and active current sharing, the power can be expanded to 2MW. It is especially suitable for testing large-power power supplies, batteries, photovoltaic cells, electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and other testing fields.

    Unlike ordinary energy-consuming electronic loads, the IT8000 series regenerative DC electronic load features energy recovery, recycling energy for on-site use instead of dissipating it as heat. Its conversion efficiency can reach approximately 95%, significantly reducing electricity costs for users and eliminating the need for air conditioning or expensive cooling systems, thus reducing noise.

     

    High Power Density

     

    Ordinary energy-consuming electronic loads not only consume energy and electricity but are also large in size and weight. A 30kW energy-consuming load requires at least 24U of space, making it difficult to transport and expensive. The IT8000 series regenerative DC electronic load uses a high-power density design, providing up to 18kW of power absorption within a 3U volume. For the same output power, the volume is reduced by 80%.

     

    Power Accumulation, Energy-Saving Effects at a Glance

     

    The IT8000 series regenerative DC electronic load uses power electronics conversion technology to recycle the output energy of the power supply being tested after completing the test power experiment. Through high-speed voltage and current sampling, users can directly view current energy parameters on the instrument panel, including the voltage, frequency, and power of each phase. They can also view the total power, current total feedback power, and historical total feedback power, making the energy-saving effects clear at a glance. After power-off and restart, the IT8000 series continues accumulating power based on the power level before the last shutdown.
     
    List Function
     
    The IT8000 series' List mode can accurately and quickly complete complex arbitrary current change modes and synchronize with internal or external signals to complete multi-level load testing, saving customers significant costs. By editing the step value, pulse width, and slope of each step, various complex sequences can be generated, allowing users to complete tests of various load waveforms. In CC mode, the IT8000 series can set the rise and fall time.
     

     

    Battery Testing Function

     

    The IT8000 series can use the constant current mode to perform battery discharge tests, and can independently set the discharge termination conditions: cutoff voltage, cutoff capacity, and discharge time. When any of the three conditions is met, the system automatically interrupts the test. During the test, the battery voltage, discharge time, and battery discharge capacity can be observed, reflecting the reliability and remaining life of the battery.

     

    Parallel Operation Technology

    Multiple Protection Functions

     

    The IT8000 series has an automatic grid status detection function. When the grid connection is suddenly disconnected, the product will shut down, enabling reliable grid connection and island protection functions. The IT8000 series can also monitor the DC input voltage and frequency and has overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overpower protection (OPP), and overtemperature protection (OTP).
