    Fast Battery Constant-Current Constant-Voltage Charge and Discharge

    Series battery packs are widely used in various fields as power sources, but the series structure results in the inability of individual batteries to automatically balance during charging. Excess energy can only be dissipated in the form of heat, damaging the batteries that generate heat. This greatly affects the performance and lifespan of the battery pack.

    The ITS5300-003 battery constant-current constant-voltage charge and discharge test system monitors the voltage of individual batteries in real time and can independently charge and discharge unbalanced batteries in the group, thereby effectively improving the usable capacity and extending the lifespan of the battery pack. During each step setting, the voltage, current, and voltage difference for constant-current constant-voltage charge and discharge can be set simultaneously. When the voltage difference between individual batteries meets the set value, the bipolar constant-current constant-voltage charge and discharge power supply will independently charge and discharge the individual batteries.

     

     

     

     

    Modular Design Structure
     

    The ITS5300 battery charge and discharge test system consists of an industrial computer, electronic load, power supply, internal resistance analyzer, and temperature acquisition instrument. It provides professional test steps to help users significantly improve testing efficiency. At the same time, the system software allows for synchronous remote control of all devices within the system. The modular design allows users to select instruments that meet their specific testing needs to build an automated testing platform, providing greater flexibility and scalability for the system architecture.

     

     

    Power-off Memory Protection Function

    Compared to the single protection setting of traditional integrated charge and discharge units, the ITS5300 battery charge and discharge test system highlights its power-off memory function.
    The power-off memory function is specifically designed and developed for long-term aging tests. It effectively ensures that data collected during long-term aging tests remains intact even in case of abnormal power outages or computer crashes. After the system resumes normal operation, the program continues from where the error occurred, avoiding the trouble of repeated testing and improving testing efficiency.
    Similarly, if the system remains powered off, it will automatically cut off the charging or discharging circuit, preventing overcharge and over-discharge, protecting the safety and reliability of the battery experiment.
     

     

    Real-time Monitoring of Charge and Discharge Status of Each Channel

    Battery packs are usually composed of individual batteries connected in series. During the charging and discharging process, the charging and discharging characteristics of individual batteries may differ, so monitoring individual batteries is particularly important.

    In addition to the important parameters of each channel, the ITS5300 system can achieve real-time monitoring of individual battery voltage, internal resistance, and temperature values by setting up a temperature meter and internal resistance meter.

    During testing, users can clearly observe the test information of each channel through the test software interface. Colored block diagrams warn users whether individual battery characteristics are normal or abnormal, providing intuitive and clear information and improving test reliability. This includes channel configuration information and parameters such as voltage, current, and discharge capacity of the corresponding battery in each channel, facilitating observation and recording.
