The open design allows users to combine freely, just like stacking building blocks. At the same time, users can optionally use the IT-E154 rack mounting kit to easily install one or more instruments in a standard 19-inch rack. Independent multi-channel control
The IT-M3100D series features an independent multi-channel design architecture to simplify the complexity of wiring between devices and PCs in multi-channel systems. After forming a multi-channel power supply system, the channel number will be displayed on the interface of each instrument. By connecting the communication interface of one of the power supplies to the PC, each power supply in the system can be controlled independently in the host computer software, and each channel can be operated completely independently. Up to 40 units/80 channels can be accommodated in a 37U cabinet, making the use more flexible and significantly improving the utilization rate of equipment.

Synchronous operation (Link)
Whether it is the internal 2 channels of the IT-M3100D series, or after forming a multi-channel power supply system, the synchronization function can be configured, which is especially suitable for simultaneous testing of multiple devices under test, or application scenarios where the device under test is multi-channel power input. Users can set three synchronization modes: On/Off, Track, and Duplicate, according to their own test needs. Users only need to set the parameters in one power supply, and the set parameters can be automatically copied or synchronized proportionally to other IT-M3100D devices in the cascade loop. When the ON/OFF function is used with the ON/OFF delay function in the menu, two solutions can be realized: synchronous power-on and sequential power-on.
Multiple protection functions
IT-M3100D has multiple protection functions to provide multiple safety protections for the power supply and expensive devices under test. In addition to setting the first line of defense with over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), over-power protection (OPP), over-temperature protection (OTP), and setting limit protection (U-Max/U-Min), it is also equipped with unique Sense fault alarm and foldback (Foldback) protection functions. The Sense fault alarm function can give a timely warning and switch to Local output when a Sense fault occurs at the output end. The Foldback protection function is mainly used to turn off the output when the power supply switches between CV/CC to protect some devices under test that are sensitive to voltage overshoot and current overshoot.

Web server, easy access
IT-M3100D provides a built-in Web server, and users can directly monitor and control the power supply through the computer's Web browser. After connecting the IT-M3100D and the computer through the LAN interface, enter the IP address of the power supply in the address bar at the top of the computer's Web browser to access the front panel control functions, including the LAN configuration parameters.
