    The Role of the Control Valve During the Test

    During the test, the control valve plays a crucial role. When the test force reaches the preset 3000 kgf, the control valve opens to release the pressure, ensuring the accuracy and stability of the test force. The control valve also has functions for adjusting pressure and controlling the force application speed to meet different test requirements.

    According to ASTM E110, this test requires repeating the force application 3-4 times, allowing the pressure gauge pointer to reach 3000 kgf 3-4 times. The following steps should be followed during this process:

    1. Initialize the system and ensure that all components are in normal working order.
    2. Set the test force to 3000 kgf and start the hydraulic system.
    3. Adjust the pressure using the control valve to gradually increase the test force to the preset value.
    4. When the test force reaches 3000 kgf, open the control valve to reduce the pressure.
    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 a total of 3-4 times to ensure data reliability.
