The IT2800 series is a compact and cost-effective desktop source meter (SMU) that can simultaneously output and measure voltage and current. These capabilities make the IT2800 series ideal for various tasks requiring high-resolution and high-precision IV (current vs. voltage) measurements.The IT2800 series SMU integrates the functions of a voltage source, current source, voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter, allowing easy switching between these different functions. This enables independent measurement of device IV characteristics in all four quadrants without the need for any additional equipment. In addition to highly accurate voltage and current output and measurement, the IT2800 series SMU can also limit voltage or current output to prevent device damage, providing extensive IV measurement capabilities for various two-terminal or three-terminal devices.The IT2800 series SMU covers a current range of 10fA to 10A and a voltage range of 100nV to 1000V. In addition to DC operation, the IT2800 series SMU also allows pulse measurements to prevent measurement errors caused by self-heating of the device.
